This novel received a starred review in Publisher’s Weekly, has been shortlisted for a stack of awards, and is my whacky multi-genre labour of love. It’s been described as Mad Max meets D&D and is the most off-the-rails thing I’ve ever written.

Book 2 of the Books of Before and Now The Jawbone & The Junkman has been released! It’s the sequel without equal 🙂
The RPG in the same setting Bullets & Bleedthroughs was successfully funded on Kickstarter and is now available at DriveThruRPG and Outland Entertainment.
I got to dabble in the world of Arkham Horror with a story in the Secrets in Scarlet anthology, Brother Bound.
An old collaboration with Martin Livings named A City Beneath (and How to Hide from It) found a home in the British Science Fiction Association’s anthology series Fission.
Spectrum Writing is growing and going in leaps and bounds! We are running something in the order of 26 different groups now, with writing, D&D, miniature painting and more!
I’ve been commissioned by Tutti Arts to work on a stage play for them. More when I can say more!
Have delivered a couple of workshops through the Queensland Writers Centre which has been great fun.
It’s great to be busy, truly blessed to live this creative life 🙂

Today marks the official publication date of my novel “Papa Lucy & The Boneman”, a saga over 10 years in the making. Getting a book made is just so damn hard, which makes these moments equal parts satisfaction and disbelief.
But it’s real. A real book that I love, that others have championed and backed and got into print (and e-print) worldwide. I am grateful to everyone who helped me whip this beast of a book into life, and I am so excited to see it storm out into the world.
